Grunge- in grunge the mood is very dark, this graphic design uses distorted images and dark colours to show this mood. Also the image might contain a person who has been distorted, this also gives a eerie feeling to the mood.

An example of this is this picture.

In this graphic design they have used the colour black to represent darkness. They also added a picture of a man who looks like he is in pain, this also gives of a dark mood.

The atmosphere of grunge is also dark and eerie. Grunge is about bland colours and a point of focus, the point of focus can be wired like the example or it can be distorted like this grunge graphic design.

Genre- I would put grunge in the genre of horror. I chose this genre because of the style codes that grunge uses. They use colours and images that would be matched with the horror genre.

Ideology-  my personal opinion of grunge is that it is personal ideology. I think this because each  poster of grunge is different. The point of focus changes and some people may find some cool and others may find it disturbing.
