Comparison
Most of these products are used electronically, for example e magazines. They can be viewed on platforms such as computers and smartphones. This is helpful because people who want to read their favourite magazine don't have to go to the corner shop and buy it, they can access it on the move on their smart phones.
This is very similar to e newspapers, people can access their favourite newspaper e.g the sun, daily mail, for free on their phones computer, this is more accessible than the printed copy of the paper as people who have a smartphone can easily access this for free.
There is also e books, these are books that can be accessed online. Some devices are specially made for e book., For example the kindle, this device allows the user to search for books and allows them to read it on the device for a little price.
All these e products are interactive media, this is because the user interacts with the product.
There are also printed products.
Leaflets are used to promote products. But instead of it being used on devices such as phones and computers, there are normally printed and handed out by the company. They often promote events.
Flyers are also a printed product. They are very similar to leaflets except that flyers are a simple 1-2 sided piece of paper with information on it. Leaflets normally fold and open to reveal more writing.
Flyers promote products such as food.
Adverts are found on both printed products and electronic products. Businesses will pay the company to insert a image or video of the product and the company will promote it the printed product or the e products.

Poster campaign
I chose a poster promoting Barack Obama, i chose this because many different style codes that make this poster a good promotion,
The poster has a traditional mood. I think this because it has traditional colours such as a white background. They also use the colours of red white and blue. This stands out for americans because it's their national colours.
The genre of the poster is political, this is because the poster is made so people see it and vote for Obama.
The ideology of the poster is also political, this is because the poster is representing a national matter. It is also promoting to the people of america someone who can be their future president.
The brand identity of the poster is classic and formal. This is because the poster is promoting the viewer to vote for Obama. It is also classical because it uses classical colours like red white blue.
Moving image campaign
I chose an moving campaign promoting a brand of mouthwash called corsodyl. This mouthwash helps people suffering with gum disease. I chose this because they promote a serious matter and also show the effects of gum disease.
The mood of the moving image campaign is reliable. I think this because the advert shows true facts of how people notice they have a gum disease. It also shows how serious the matter is and tells the viewer do not ignore it.
The genre of the advert is a serious and factual matter. It shows the viewer that gum disease can be painful and it should be treated.
The ideology of the advert is personal ideology. This is because the advert only applies to people who have noticed some of the symptoms of gum diseases. This makes it more personal because the advert is speaking to a individual.
The brand identity is formal. This is because the advert is talking about actual facts and real life events that can be happening to anyone.
Website campaign
I chose this website because it links with the poster. It promotes national issues. It also has many stylistic codes. I also chose this website because it will stand out to the viewer because of the colours and images they used.
The mood of the website is a traditional mood. I think this because it keeps the traditional colours red white and blue. These colours are also the colours of the american flag, this will make people from america more interested about the website and they will engage with it more. The atmosphere of the poster is a warm, national l atmosphere.
The genre of the website is a traditional mood. This is because of the colour scheme the creator used. I also think this because of the way the text is wrote. It is a formal type of text which you wouldn't see in a horror genre or a comedy genre.
The website has a political ideology. This is because of the images they used in the webiste. They used images of Barack Obama and other politics of america which shows the political side of the website.
The websites brand identity is formal. This is because it helps the viewer find voluntary work in their local area. This is helping people, which is why it is formal.

poster evaluation
My poster
The first thing i created on my poster was the background. I wanted a background with numerous amounts of colour, so i started experimenting with the preset colours in photoshop. After looking for colours i couldn't find any bright and vibrant colours that went well with my scheme, so i tried a more subtle mix of different shades of brown and white. I made the colours fade into each other using the preset tool on photoshop called the gradient tool. Ilike the out come of the poster and i kept it.
i then added the images of Bob Marely and the lion. I got the image from google images, originally the picture was them merged together but i wanted them separate so i duplicated the photo and dragged on to the left and one to the right. After this i added an effect on the photos called overlay, this made the pictures blend into the background and made it more subtle.
After the pictures were added, i focused on inserting typography onto the poster. I searched the internet for a reggae looking text but i could not find any, after this i looked on photoshops preset text and found one that i liked, it was called projan. I liked it because it made the text look old fashioned and i think it suited my scheme. I used bob marely quotes for my heading and footer, I didn't want the text to say "reggae" because i saw others using the word as their heading so i wanted mine to stand out and be different. I chose two Bob marely quotes Because it represents individualism, i think this because both the quotes are talking about '"yourself" and our minds. Which is what i think reggae music is all about. I then added a text mild text wrap to the heading, i added this because i thought it matched well with the pictures and the colour scheme.
I added the peace logo in the middle last. I found this image on google images, it came with a transparent background so i did not need to cut around it. This was helpful as it saved me time. I added it not knowing what is was going to turn out like, i sent the picture to the layer underneath the bob marely and lion and thought it looked nice and suited my poster well. It originally came as black, i did not like this because it was difficult to see and understand what it was. So i then added an overlay onto the peace logo so it would be easier to see.

What was your aim? Donating money, Raising awareness
Our aim primary aim was to raise awareness for great ormond street hospital. We did this because we liked how they helped young children through life threatening illnesses and disabilities, we wanted to show what they are doing for the community and how they are helping.
Original ideas- coreys pitch, storyboards, Plan B
Compared to our original idea, our production changed lot, this is for many reasons. But the main reason was that we couldn't get permission from great ormond street to film in the hospital. So me and aaron thought of a way around this and made my bedroom look like a hospital bed.
There was also a problem with speaking in the advert. We wanted the advert to have no speaking. But it was very hard to get our message across without speaking.
Strengths and weaknesses?
Our biggest strength was the scenes when matthew and me are bmxing. I think this because it shows how happy he is after his stay at great ormond street hospital.
Another strength of our piece was adding the logo at the end of the production. This helps viewers know what charity we are representing.
Our final strength was our editing. We used different types of editing skills but the one that stood out was the reversed music. I did this whilst editing and i thought it worked well in the production
Our weaknesses
In our prediction our worst weakness was our audio levels. The music was louder thasn the speaking and miss had to turn up when the music stopped.
Another weakness is our location. We used the same location twice at different scenes, we used the hospital bed in the scene of matthew is resting. And we used the same room in the interview. This can confusing for some viewers.
How did filming go? Team work
The filming well fine, i got the shots of me and matthew riding one night when we went riding and aaron was telling me other shots to get. For example the bed scene. I think the filming for our production went well.
