Planning
For the planning of my photos I created a number of documents that helped me get to where i am now. I created a photographers calling sheet to know the dates and times of when i was shooting with my friends at the skatepark it also helped me stick to what i wanted to take pictures of and not get distracted as i knew they would make good images.
i also created a planning sheet, the planning sheet helped me brainstorm my ideas at the beginning of my coursework. I got the idea of take photos around BMX because i planned it in there. it helped me think of photo ideas as i put sample images in the document.
Technical
The technical side of things didn't got to plan. once i arrived at the skate park, my friend Freddie broke he's bike and snapped he's forks in half. this wasn't good as he was my main model for the photo shoot. i had to work around he's bike being broke and everyone trying to help him, so instead of focusing on the riding side of things, i changed my idea to the views of the skatepark and the social side of things.
I used a Iphone 6 camera to take all of these photos.

the focus on all the images is the BMX rider performing there stunts and tricks. the skate park in the back ground is also a focus but not the main.
framing...
I used natural light to take my photos as we was outside on a sunny day. no artificial light was needed.

My final images
These photos are my final images
The first picture I took is a picture of the skate park. The sunset was hitting the skate park and it made it look very megistic. I like this photo as it shows how relaxing being at the skate park is and shows off the lovely back ground of the skate park.

the aperture is low. This is because the sun light isn't hitting that much of the skate park.

The second photo i took is off my two friends Matthew and Sam following each other in the skate parks bowl. this makes a good photo as is shows how much fun the skate park is and how much fun we have out on our BMX bikes.

the aperture of this photo is low. most of the ramps of the park are covered in shade.

The final picture i like is a photo of Jack Pike doing a big air on the skate parks ramps. I really like this photo because it shows even the most simple tricks like airing a ramp can make such nice photos. I also think how the sun is hitting the BMX rider also makes this a nice photo.

The final picture i took is an image of the skate park but the look through the gap of my BMX bars. I like this photo because it shows what life behind bars is really like and what the skate park is all about.

Mise-en-scene
all the photos are taken in Victoria park skate park, the skate park can be seen in the back ground of all of these photos. I wanted to show the atmosphere of the skate park whilst showing the BMX side of things. I think having the skate park in the background helps show this as people can be seen watching with excitement

Special instructions
All BMX riders must at LEAST wearing pads for protection if any accidents occur.
Concept:
The concept of my photo shoot is that the photographer will be following the day of these 3 BMX riders. Showing the viewer what BMX is all about and the excitement that the sport brings whilst performing crazy tricks and stunts. The BMX riders will be performing a wide range of stunts so i can capture the best images.

Planning sheet
Subject
The subject of my photos will be my friends riding their BMX bikes. I want to take photos of this because BMX is my passion and i think it will make good photos as all my friends can do loads of different stunts and tricks.
Availability of resources
For my photos i am going to need a BMX bike. I will need this so my friends can perform the stunts and tricks. I will also need my phone, i am going to take the photos on my iphone 6 which has a good camera. I will finally need a skatepark, i need this so my friends have somewhere to perform tricks.
Bookings
Bookings will not be necessary as i will be using my own camera to take my photos.
Image resolution/ pixel size
Scaling factor is 3 and the image is afterwards downscaled from rendered 2208 × 1242 pixels.
Location
The location i will be taking photos will be at victoria skatepark, i want to take them there as i know the best angles and tricks to perform tricks as it is my local skatepark.
Light
I will be getting natural light from being outside. I am going to take my photos around midday so lighting will not be an issue.
Permissions
I will not need any permissions as it is a public skatepark, and i take photos for my friends all the time.
Interior
For my inside shots i want pictures of my bmx, i am going to put my bmx in front of a white background and use lights to make it visible.
Overview of risks
The only risk in my photography work is wearing the proper protection. My friends will be wearing helmets while i take the photos for their own safety.

the purpose of my photos are to entertain to viewer. i want people to look at the pictures and dream of being able to do the tricks i do on my bike.
the media product i want to make is a sport magazine.
my target audience will be 16-20 year olds. i chose this because i am that age so it will be easier for them to relate
